A Trip on the Grand Rapids & Indiana: Vicksburg to Petoskey Join us for the second installment of the 2023 Speaker Series with Michigan railroad historian Mark Worrall. Mr. Worrall will take us on a trip up the GR&I railroad. Beginning on Vicksburg, the presentation will follow the rail line up to Petoskey, giving the audience a view of what they might have seen in the heyday of rail travel. The Speaker Series is held in Township Hall in the Historic Village at 2pm. This is a free event and is open to the public. Please join us!

We will be building and decorating birdhouses at the Historic Village on Saturday, June 17, 10am-12pm. After building your birdhouse, with help from Frederick Construction, you will have the opportunity to paint and decorate. All buildings in the Historic Village will also be open for visitors. Event is FULL!

Join us Saturday, May 13, 9am-12pm for this FREE event! Begin the day at the Gazebo in the Historic Village and then move through four stations where kids can get their bikes tuned up by Pedal Bicycle, get their helmet fitting checked by Safe Kids Kalamazoo County or get a free helmet while supplies last, learn hand signals for road safety, and go through the bike rodeo to put their skills to the test.
