The Vicksburg Historical Society provides internships for undergraduate students. Work directly with our collection through various projects. We accept up to two interns per semester.
Potential projects and duties include:
- digitizing images and documents
- create exhibits
- perform data entry in PastPerfect Museum Software
- update existing exhibits
- assist with tours and events, including acting as docent
- develop programs for the public
- attend one Society board meeting
